Wesley Ian Cappiello is a New York based actor, dancer, and singer. Born in Princeton, NJ, this Jersey boy has been in love with the performing arts since a very young age. At six years old, Wesley could be found running around the house singing at the top of his lungs and dancing on any surface he could find. Not much has changed since. Wesley took a plethora of dance classes throughout elementary, middle, and high school ranging from ballet to jazz to tap, and everything in between. This set the foundation for Wesley to cultivate his love and passion for dance and performing. He holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ.
Wesley has appeared in many regional and educational productions in theaters including: The New York City Center in New York, NY, The Walnut Street Theatre and The Prince Music Theater in Philadelphia, PA, The Woodstock Playhouse in Woodstock, NY, and The Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, PA. Some of his favorite credits include: A Chorus Line (New York City Center Encores!, National Tour, International Tour), Gypsy, West Side Story, The 25th… Spelling Bee, Cats, and Guys and Dolls. Wesley received a Broadway World Regional Theater Award Nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical (Professional) for his performance in A Chorus Line at The Clear Space Theatre Company in Rehoboth Beach, DE, as well as an NJACT Perry Award Nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical for his performance in West Side Story at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center in Deal, NJ.
When not onstage, Wesley can typically be found trying out new recipes in the kitchen, reading a murder mystery novel, or writing (some of his work can be found on The Ensemblist website). Other times, he can be found snuggled up with his cat, Valentino Versace.
Wesley could not be more proud to call Bloc home. This is the beginning of an exciting, new journey and he cannot wait to see what the future has in store.
