Nick Sanchez is one of those rare New Yorkers that is actually from New York! Born and raised in the suburbs of NYC, Nick grew up in local theaters such as the CM Performing Arts Center and notably the Gateway Playhouse as one of the “Gateway Kids”. At a young age, he and his mom took the trek many times into the big city for print work and commercial auditions. Through his love of being in front of an audience and the camera, Nick found himself studying acting in NYC under some of the city’s best acting professors. He trained at Marymount Manhattan College in classic and musical theatre. He discovered his love of plays after starring as Paul in John Guare’s Six Degrees of Separation. After just a year fresh out of college, Nick made his Broadway debut in the musical Rent. From there, he continued to work on Broadway and off-Broadway in Tarzan, Altar Boyz and most recently Mary Poppins. A little known fact about Nick is that he has a passion for cartoons and children’s programming. He is the consummate goofball and refuses to grow old- just like the character he played in his first starring role in the 6th grade, Peter Pan. 80’s cult films are constantly on loop in his apartment. He has always had a love for Interior Design and just recently received a second degree from The Fashion Institute of Technology in Interior Design. As an avid reader and a self proclaimed nerd, Nick is essentially obsessed with Harry Potter and doesn’t care who knows it.
