Alex Colavecchio

Alex Colavecchio was born and raised in the small town of Cromwell, Connecticut. Dance was her first love, as she trained on a professional dance team for 10 years. However, she wound up in a terrible accident at the age of 13 and fell out of dance due to a severe injury. After 16 years of withholding musicals from the students, Cromwell High decided to give them another chance. It was then that Alex found her love for theater auditioning for a little show called Grease. Later, Alex graduated happily with a BFA in Musical Theater from Western Connecticut State University where she learned under well acclaimed professors such as, Elizabeth Parkinson, Scott Wise, Mary Ann Lamb, John Hickok and more. Not only did her love grow stronger for performing while attending the school, but along the way she formed a business with the help of her professors and friends. Alex has been a photographer for almost 6 years now, shooting primarily headshots, lifestyle and family. Alex is extremely excited to announce that beginning January of 2020 she will be officially opening up her very own studio in NY, be on the look out. One of my favorite sayings is, “Everything happens for a reason.” I don’t know where God is going to take me but I’m excited to follow the journey wherever he may lead.
