KINGSLEY IBENECHE was born and raised in Camden, NJ by parents from Nigeria. Kingsley began dancing at the Creative Arts High School in Camden and received his BFA in ballet performance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia in 2013. After graduating he became a guest artist for various dance companies including Grace Dance Theater, Junk, Dancefusion, and Jus Soul Street Dance Theater. While in Philadelphia, Kingsley trained under Kim Bares, Zane Booker, Pat Thomas, Milton Mires, and Kyle and Dinita Clark. In the spring of 2014 Kingsley was featured on the TV show “So You Think You Can Dance.” Kingsley became a member of Pilobolus’s Shadowland in 2014, and toured internationally with them for 2 years. After graduation he lived and performed dance in Germany for a year, where he realized he wanted to deeper pursue acting, singing, and writing. One of Kingsley's mentors and greatest inspiration Zane Booker was a strong influence in his life and growth as a young artist.
