Gabrielle Rembert


Gabrielle “Gabby” Rembert was born in Livingston and raised in West Orange, New Jersey. She began as a recreational dancer at the age of two at the Maria Priadka School of Dance, performing in their yearly recitals. At the age of 7, she sat her parents down and told them, dance was going to be her life. She then enrolled in multiple pre-professions programs to further advance her training. She attended Dance Theater of Harlem, Ballet Hispanico, French Academy. In the summer of 2016, she attended the Debbie Allen Dance Academy’ Summer Intensive on scholarship. Currently she is enrolled in the STEPS Conservatory and Broadway Dance Center CTP. She is also a part of the Tremaine Performance Company and a member of the Concepts and Choreography Dance Company in Orange, NJ.

Gabby booked her first job as a featured dancer on Dr. Oz with Abby Lee Miller. From there, she was on Good Morning America Dancing to Pharrell’s “Happy.” She went on to do the tree lighting with Mariah Carey on NBC, as well as performing at Mariah Carey’s Christmas show at the Beacon Theater show two years in a row.

Outside of performing, Gabby enjoys photography, art, and journaling. Academically, she loves math and science. Artistically, she has MANY influences, some of which are Desmond Richardson, Jessica Castro, Meghan Sanett, Tony Bellissmo, Charles Smith, Sean Bankhead, Fatima Robinson, Hamilton Evans and Zendaya.

Gabby’s favorite saying is “AS YOU SHOULD.”
