I was born in Little Rock Arkansas and was raised in Dallas, Texas.
I took a Theatre class in High School and just thought of it as an easy A. I ended up performing in the first show of the year.,The Sound Of Music, and the rest was history!
I went to school at Northwestern State University.
Outside of performing, I am interested in Journalism and Politics.
My first big job was for the Young Frankenstein 1st National Tour. I planned on going to the Equity dance call, but I over slept. I went to the female audition and dropped off my headshot and resume. I didn't expect anything from it, but I figured that it couldn't hurt. The next day, there casting office called and invited me to an audition and I booked it!
Jerry Goering and Patty Carver of Connecticut Children's Theatre have been my biggest fans and supporters pretty much since I moved to NYC and I love them both. They have guided me and really helped me become the performer that I am today!
My favorite movie would have to be "Coming to America".
When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile.
