Caci Cole Pritchett was born in Nashville, TN. She began her dance training in Atlanta, GA at North Atlanta Dance Academy under the direction of Michael Garrison and Stacy . Since then she has trained extensively with Nashville Ballet as well as Alonzo King Lines Contemporary Ballet. She received her Degree in Dance from the Alvin Ailey/Fordham BFA Program as an E. Corrigan Scholar and Sr Leadership Awardee with a concentration in Pre-Med studies.
Caci’s first National Tour was the Opera, “ We Shall Not Be Moved” choreographed by Bill T. Jones. where shas had the opportunity to work with and perform works by several NYC based choreographers including Bill T. Jones,Ron K. Brown, Sylvia Waters, Matthew Rushing, Laurie Taylor, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Lloyd Culbreath, and most recently Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker with the West Side Story Revival Broadway Lab.
She has had the chance to grace the stages of the Apollo Theatre, Opera Philadelphia, and the Dutch National Opera. This year she made her on screen acting debut on Amazon’s “ The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and HBO’s “Succession”.
In addition to performing, Ms. Pritchett is also a classically trained Violist, Vocalist, and Dance Teaching artist. She has had the pleasure of assisting Horton and Ballet technique at the Ailey School and serving as an instructor for The Youth Company at Dancewave, BK and Williamsburg Movement and Arts Center.
She was most inspired to dance by growing up mesmerized with Michael Jackson’s Visuals for his “Bad” album, and seeing the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre perform at the Fox Theatre. Her favorite phrase that she lives by is “ I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength!”.
