I was born and raised in Trenton, NJ. I started performing when I was 11 with hip hop and that continued until I turned 16, I then started training in other styles broadening my dance vocabulary. I trained with a dance crew at first called Devastation Dance Crew ,then I went to Watson Johnson Dance Theatre, and Dream Makers Dance Studio to get technical experience in dance. My interests outside of performing is to one day be an interpreter for Deaf people to then one day have a dance school who invites people who are deaf to teach them dance and feel the beat of the music. I can not thank my dance teacher Carolyn Watson Johnson for getting me in to ballet class and nurture my dance journey every step. Also, I would thank Fredrick Earl Mosley for seeing more than what met the eyes giving me strength and helping me acknowledge confidence within myself. One of my favorite sayings is “ I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear (Nelson Mandela).”
