Anita is a California native and is happy to call NYC home. Music was ever present in her home and quickly became her friend. Anita, began taking voice lessons at a young age as a creative tool to treat her Asthma. Her father introduced her to VHS tapes from the library of Fiddler on the Roof, Madam Butterfly, Annie and The Wiz. She began learning of other phenomenal women who’ve effected change, opened doors, and created life changing art. Her love of performing has allowed her to live a life more full than she imagined.

Anita is also a proud member of the Tony Award honored Choir Broadway Inspirational Voices, under the direction of Micheal McElroy. Through which she’s been able to serve with her talent and give back to the community. This year alongside the choir Anita performed at the 2019 World Pride Opening Ceremony with Billy Porter; Patti LuPone’s 20th bday with the Philharmonics at Lincoln Center.
