Jason Ng

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and eventually moving to Long Island, Jason Ng aka Chem (short for Chemistry) started breaking in Syosset High School at the age of 14.  There weren't much extra-curricular activities that interested Jason when he lived in Long Island. Until one day, he decided to try out some breaking moves he saw his big brother once showed him.  Taking the dance up as a hobby, it quickly changed to something more meaningful once he became more involved with bboying and its culture.  He had learned how to break without anyone teaching him through his years of dancing.  It had created what is seen as his B-boy style today.
Seen as one of the up-and-coming B-boy Stars on the East Coast, Bboy Chem has won numerous battles in the US and has been flown to compete internationally in Estonia, France, Sweden and Montreal.  Some of his B-boy achievements include taking first in Kings of New York (2008, 2010), Street Star Jam (2011), Born 2 Serve 2011 and Evolution 6: 3 on 3 with his crews Floor Obsession and Universal Alchémy.
Jason's first audition happened to be his first booking for a show called Ryan Leslie Dance Project.  His B-boy style caught the casting's attention as being a dynamic and explosive individual dancer.  He had the privilege to work with many dancers and choreographers in the industry during that time.  This also inspired him to train harder as a dancer.  As he worked with everyone, he felt everyone had influenced his dancing in one way or the other.

"I would rather shoot for the moon and miss than aim for the gutter and make it."
