Theresa Stone



Theresa Stone has been working in the industry for close to 10 years. She has trained and assisted under some of the biggest names in dance including Brian Friedman, Laurieann Gibson, Tyce Diorio, Dave Scott, Cris Judd, Tricia Miranda and more! She has been teaching all styles and levels of dance for almost 12 years, and her passion for the craft continues to grow everyday. 
 
Her dance credits include Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani, Fifth Harmony, Toni Braxton, Keke Palmer, Silento, and Earth, Wind & Fire, just to name a few. She has also danced for brands, shows & films including Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Lay’s Potato Chips, Lionsgate Films, Wendy Williams Show, America’s Got Talent, Delta Airlines, Google, Ninetendo and Good Morning America. 
 
As for her choreography credits, she has choreographed for three of Todrick Hall’s World Tours, Vogue, Six Flags: Great Adventure, ABC Upfronts, Oscar Blandi Hair Show, Dance Showdown & is the season 1 champion of Nigel Lythgoe’s “Every Single Step”. This led her to also choreograph for So You Think You Can Dance - Season 13. She is the creative voice behind A Great Big World’s “Oasis” music video, the OA Fluid Sense film, and Raquel Castro’s “Closer” music video as well. She has also had the opportunity for FX’s new show “Pose”, work with Lance Bass on The Meredith Veiria Show, and has been assistant choreographer for Adam Lambert, Gwen Stefani & Omi. 
 
Theresa teaches at world renown studios including Broadway Dance Center & BrickhouseNYC. Her largest creative journey is her company AbstraKT BEINGS, which she is the Artistic Director of. Her company has been seen on America’s Got Talent, Vogue, Billboard and others. Her dancers have gone on to perform with artists such as Sia, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, NERD, Jason Derulo, Justin Timberlake, Jennfier Lopez and so many more. 
 
Theresa has taught at over 100 studios throughout the United States and overseas. To add she has had experience teaching at over 10 different conventions some including The Pulse On Tour, Wild Dance Intensive, Move: On Tour and many others. She has experience in teaching competitive teams of all sizes and levels, and also has the experience and knowledge to teach young, and old professionals. She has received over 20 highly ranked awards and recognitions for her choreography, and continues to push her limits everywhere she goes. 
 
Theresa’s teaching style and belief is that every movement has a reason, every piece has a story and every feeling should be a reality. She incorporates real life events and scenarios to help take her students outside of the classroom setting, fused with intricate and interesting movement to enhance the message they’re trying to portray.
