Sebastian Chacon

Stephen Chacon was born in Jamaica, Queens to a family of South American immigrants.  As a child, he would have his nose in a book half the time and be lost in thought for the other.  His mother would write him songs on his birthdays, and his father would tell him Greek myths before bed.  Growing up in New York City, he was always surrounded by interesting personalities and developed a fascination with people.  The first Broadway show he ever saw was Cats, which left him confused and scared.

Stephen studied acting at Playwrights Horizons Theatre School, and received a BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.  Some of his favorite roles include Stevie Boy in The Get Down, Reinaldo in the Cannes film, Solace, and Edwin Velasquez in Our Lady of 121st Street. In his free time, he likes to draw, make music, and practice martial arts.  He wishes he was a better skater.  He is excited by the recent demand for new voices in entertainment, and looks forward to telling their stories.
