Peter Ermides

Peter was raised in Albany, NY. From the age of twelve he started performing in middle and high school productions as well as regional theatres in the Albany area. Upon graduation from Guilderland High School he began auditioning to schools and was accepted to the Boston Conservatory of Music where he earned a BFA in Musical Theatre with a minor in Dance. Post graduation Peter moved to NYC where he booked work regionally, internationally and in summer stock. Upon returning to NYC Peter was scheduled to do PROMISES, PROMISES at Goodspeed Opera House. Before rehearsals began, an opportunity arose to audition for THEWHO’S TOMMY on Broadway at the St. James Theatre. Peter was cast as a swing and contracted to perform twelve roles including the title role of TOMMY. During a matinee the shows star became ill; Peter went on in his place for the second act. That evening he went on again for the same role and learned that the producers, including Pete Townshend, were coming to the show. Weeks later when the cast was changing Peter got a call from his agent to take over the title role of TOMMY on Broadway.
