Megumi Haggerty


A bilingual actress of Japanese & Irish descent, Megumi was born in Kentucky, and spent her childhood in Japan and England. 

Megumi began acting at the age of six on a Japanese morning television program, where she sang "Bingo!" as part of a sing-a-long segment. After moving to England, Megumi performed in her first play, and decided to pursue the performing arts upon her return to the US. Performing in school shows and Paper Mill Playhouse's Summer Conservatories, Megumi continued her education at Emerson College, where she received a BA in Acting & Theatre Education.

When not found auditioning or working, Megumi enjoys reading, playing video games, and finding the best ramen restaurants in New York City.
