Kal Parekh



As a student of the arts Kal has always pursued opportunities that offer creative freedom. He loves drawing, painting and the medium of animation. He has a B.F.A. from the School of Visual Arts. In college Kal learned of his natural ability as a dancer. Since then, he has performed at several Bollywood shows, competitions. In 2001 he was fortunate enough to be a part of the first ever South Asian production on Broadway titled "Rang: Shades of my soul."  Kal studied acting at several acting schools in New York including Esper Studios and has acted on screen and stage. In 2005 Kal landed a starring role in the Indie feature film "Khel Shuru" (the game is on),a foreign language thriller, in which he learned to speak Hindi. It was his debut as a lead actor and art director. In 2006 It opened to great reviews in selected U.S. cities.  In 2009 He landed a principle role on the SAG pilot "Titans of GEFA". In 2010 Kal starred in the feature film "Karma Road" which won the silver prize for best picture at the "Philadelphia International Film Festival". The same year he landed a co-starring role in Garry Marshall's "New Year's Eve". In Fall of 2011, Kal landed the re-curring role of "Sanjeev" on the ABC's "Pan Am".He also Co-starred on "Gossip Girl" and CBS's "Blue Bloods". Most recently , Kal played the re-curring role of Aaron on Fox's hit show, "The Following".  Kal believes life's only limitations are the ones we make for ourselves and is constantly learning new skills and growing. He wishes to thank his family and friends for supporting him on his creative journey.
