Born and raised in New York, Gillian was intoduced to the performing arts at a very young age. Ever since she was a little girl her parents would take her to musicals. And like most asians (especially Filipinos), her parents were avid karaoke fans and had their own machine at home. With that karaoke machine, Gillian was introduced to singing and sang every chance she got. She then started dance lessons at the age of 3 and fell in love. Her passion for dance lead her to a performing arts summer camp which introduced her to acting. After attending the Tisch School of the Arts HS program she decided that she wanted to pursue acting as a career. Gillian earned a BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with CAP 21 (musical theatre studio) and The Atlantic Theatre Company. She feels truly blessed to be doing what she loves and cannot wait to see what adventures lie before her!
