David Socolar

David was born in Baltimore Maryland and grew up making little plays and theatrical pieces with his big sister, Maddie, and all of their Beanie Babies. He grew up on the Baseball field, Golf course, and Tennis court, and it wasn't until middle school when he was bitten by the theater bug. His high school choir teacher/musical director mentored him throughout the final years of high school and helped him to realize that he wanted to be a performer for the rest of his life.

David graduated from Connecticut College with a BA in Vocal Performance and Theater, and received conservatory Acting training at the British American Drama Academy of London (BADA), and the Eugene O'Neill Theater Institute in Waterford CT.

Since moving to the Big Apple in September of 2016 he has been sharpening dance skills, meeting casting directors, and waiting tables.

Outside of the biz, David still tries to find time to get out on the Golf course. He loves hanging with friends around a meal, watching British television shows, and walking around in Central Park alone, or with a buddy or two.

Having moved to the city recently, David could not be more excited to join the family at bloc, and he looks forward to what is to come!
