Benjamin grew up on the mean, mean streets of Orlando, Florida. (There were tourists. There were alligators. There were...CHAIN RESTAURANTS!) So, he fled to Carnegie Mellon, got a BFA in acting, and moved to New York City. Benjamin has acted on television ("Homeland," "Law & Order," "Unforgettable") and on stages in NY and across the country. He is a 2012 Barrymore Nominee for Best Supporting Actor for his work as Louis in ANGELS IN AMERICA at The Wilma Theater, and he currently appears as Edgar in KING LEAR at the Tony Award-winning Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, OR. Benjamin was published in the journal of the American Academy of Pediatric Neurosurgeons at age 17 and serves as co-Curator of the first ever Daedalus Film Fest, a benefit for people living with HIV/AIDS in Southern Oregon.
