Amelia Windom

Amelia is a New York City based actor who hails from a much smaller city in Indiana. She grew up knowing she wanted to be an actor after performing in school plays as a small child. Not thinking it was a practical endeavor and not having any kind of theatrical mentor, she stopped acting until college where she realized she wouldn't be able to devote her life to anything else. She holds her BFA in Acting from Ball State University and soon after graduation she moved to the Bluegrass state of Kentucky to continue her training as an acting apprentice at The Actors Theatre of Louisville. There she wrote and performed her second one woman show, developed tons of new work with her fellow apprentices, directed a 10 min play, and originated multiple roles, one being Ann in Meg Miroshnick's piece Bug in Wondrous Strange that made its world premier in the Humana Festival of New American PlaysAfter the hard work, love, creativity and growth that shaped her Actors Theatre of Louisville experience, she moved across the country to New York City where she has been performing in plays, readings, workshops, and on camera since.
