Amber Owens

Amber is a California girl, having grown up outside of Sacramento.  She started dancing at 11 and, while that is a little late, she fell in love.  While still in high school she was cast in The Will Rogers Follies at Sacramento Music Circus thereby securing her first summer job and first professional performing experience in one fell swoop.

Amber left California to attend Northwestern University where she earned a Bachelor of Science with a major in Film and Television Studies and a minor in Political Science.  Her post-graduation plan, at the time, was to attend law school but she wanted to take some time off before diving right back into a rigorous school schedule.  As her senior year at Northwestern was coming to a close, she flew to NYC to audition for the 1st national tour of 42nd Street and was in rehearsals a week after graduation.  Favorite performing experiences include dancing on “The Great Stage” as a Rockette at Radio City Music Hall, mastering the art of dancing with a flail mace in the Las Vegas company of Spamalot, and leaping across rooftops in Mary Poppins on Broadway.  Law school is still on hold.

Outside of performing, Amber loves reading, travel, fashion and going to the movies.  She also considers herself a connoisseur of The Real Housewives franchises.

One of her guiding tenets: "Gratitude...always"
