Alia Hodge

Alia was born and raised in San Jose, California. The daughter of an opera singer and a jazz musician, she was constantly around music and performing. It wasn’t until her cousin dragged her to The Wizard of Oz auditions in 5th grade that Alia got up on the stage herself! She’s been in love with the theatre ever since. A proud CMTSJ alum, Alia left California to pursue a BFA in Musical Theatre at The Boston Conservatory. After graduating in 2015, Alia has worked at North Shore Music Theatre, Berkshire Theatre Festival, and Westchester Broadway Theatre, to name a few. She was most recently on the 20th Anniversary Tour of RENT as the Seasons of Love Soloist, and she is currently a swing on the National Tour of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. She would not be where she is today without her voice teacher at BoCo, Monique Phinney, and her family and friends. Outside of theatre, Alia is a huge Disney fan, Star Wars nerd, and french fry connoisseur.
