Tyler Beauregard

Tyler was born in North Eastern Connecticut in the town of Thompson where he resided until his family relocated to Port St Lucie, Florida when he was 8 years old.  Tyler’s mom was the director of a dance studio in Connecticut and from the age of 2 weeks old the studio became his home.  He was exposed to all styles of dance at a very early age and could not wait to be old enough to begin lessons.  At age 3 he started tap dancing and his love for tap was born.  Throughout his years at the studio he participated in all styles of dance including tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip hop and modern.  When his family moved to Florida he continued to study dance at his mom’s new studio in Florida.  Tyler attended many dance conventions and competitions throughout his childhood.  One of his most memorable performing experiences was with Dance Olympus/ Dance America when he was selected as a finalist for the Dancer of The Year.

When Tyler was beginning high school he was placed into a drama class without his knowledge.  He decided to give it a try and within a week of being in the class knew that this is what he was supposed to be doing.  Throughout high school he was given many opportunities to perform and was very fortunate to attend a high school that was so dedicated to the arts. Tyler began taking voice lessons from Anna McNeely a Broadway Performer who had moved to Florida and was helping with the theatre department’s productions.  Tyler credits Mr. Patrick Madden, his high school theatre teacher for helping him to grow as a performer.  Tyler went on to further his studies at The University of Central Florida where he earned his BFA in Musical Theatre with a minor in dance.

After graduation Tyler was cast in his first professional role as Gabe in Next To Normal at The Studio Theatre Tierra del Sol in Florida.  Tyler worked throughout the state of Florida for a year after graduation and then moved to NYC to pursue a career in theatre.  Tyler is very excited to see where this life will take him and is eternally thankful to his family, friends and mentors who have always supported him.
