Tess Dokmanovich

Tess grew up in Hebron, Connecticut where she began dancing competitively at the age of ten. Throughout her career as a competitive dancer, she consistently won top level placements and special judges’ awards across many styles of dance, although her favorites have always been hip-hop and jazz. Tess attended the University of Connecticut and became a member of the UConn Dance Team, where she danced for dual national championship basketball teams. As Captain, Tess led her team to their highest Nationals placement in program history. Tess has also danced professionally for the WNBA Connecticut Sun, as well as the NLL New England Black Wolves. Her proudest accomplishment is becoming a member of the Brooklynettes and having the opportunity to work with renowned choreographers in New York City. Tess’s favorite quote is “There is no growth in the comfort zone, and no comfort in the growth zone,” which inspires her to continuously challenge herself in the pursuit of her dreams.
