Tatiana Stewart

Born in New York City, Tatiana Stewart began dancing at Steps on Broadway at the tender age of three. After moving to Los Angeles at 10 years old, she joined the Debbie Allen Dance Academy where she trained for 7 years on full scholarship. There she learned techniques in Ballet, Pointe, Character, Modern, Jazz, Dunham, Flamenco, African, Musical Theatre and more. Through the years she has attended intensives with A.B.T., Lines Ballet, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Boston Ballet and Complexions.

As a full-time New Yorker, Tatiana is a perfectionist, always improving her craft and expanding her technical abilities, taking classes whenever she can. Whether it’s Ballet, Contemporary, Vogue, Samba, burlesque or belly dancing she’s ready to try it! She loves to stay active through Pilates, aqua cycling, pole classes, CrossFit, anything with a fun, intense class atmosphere! On her free time Tatiana enjoys photography, spending time with friends and family, going to jazz clubs, exploring the city, trying new restaurants and cuisines, traveling, listening to music and playing with her miniature Yorkshire Terrier Lulu. In addition, Tatiana has a silly sense of humor yet is also very serious and passionate about environmental issues and animal causes. She volunteers when her schedule permits.

Some of Tatiana’s greatest influences growing up were Alla Khaniashvilli and her partner, Vitaly Artushkin, former principles with The Bolshoi. Growing to a statuesque 6’2”, you can imagine, as a girl how daunting it may have been, especially in the dance world. However, with Alla and Vitaly’s guidance, mentorship and support Tatiana believes the great posture, grace and technique she has acquired is due to these Ballet Master’s. Her number one fan, Tatiana’s Mother has always been by her side, pushing and encouraging her to be a stronger, happier, and all round better woman, and for this she is forever grateful.

One of Tatiana’s goals is to share her love of dance and passion for the arts while making a positive impact in the world!
