Stephen Hernandez

Stephen grew up in a small town in Wyoming. From a young age he knew he wanted to perform. It all started with gymnastics. After watching his sister dance for a year, he joined in. First with Tap, then with Jazz and Ballet. 
He continued his training as a teenager at Colorado Ballet. Eventually joining the company as an apprentice. After performing with a few different companies in Denver, he decided to move to Los Angeles. There, he was accepted into the EDGE Performing Arts Center Scholarship Program. Upon graduation, Stephen worked with many different choreographers both in LA and internationally.
Most recently, Stephen has had the great fortune of traveling the country on the 1st. National Tour of Newsies the Musical.
The people who have influenced him most along the way are Jocelyn Labsen, Bill Prudich and Peter Chu.
