Sidney DuPont

Sidney was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He began studying music, dance, and theatre at the Creative & Performing Arts High school. He enjoyed many performance opportunities in school but his first “real” job was with Stepp Stewart, at the age of seventeen performing at the ‘green garden gala’, hosted by Dr. Oz. DuPont then began more training at the University of the Arts and with the Broadway Dreams Foundation. Through the program he was mentored by some of broadway’s most celebrated stars. He’s continually grateful for the support of his mentors: Annette Tanner, Tituss Burgess, Matt Lenz, and Nicholas Rodriguez, who have been such a catalyst for his growth in the industry. Outside of performing Sidney enjoys writing short-stories, sports, and cooking. His favorite saying to date is: “In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away.”
