Michelle Leonardo

Born and raised in New Jersey, Michelle's love for dance started at a very young age.  She danced competitively along the east coast, earning numerous regional and national awards. During her time at Suffolk University, Michelle worked as an on-air reporter for New England Cable News, hosted Michael Costello's fashion show and eventually won the title of Miss New Jersey USA 2012 where she competed and placed in the Top 10 at Miss USA. After graduating, Michelle continued to pursue a modeling and dance career. She has walked in fashion shows for Adidas Candice Wu Couture and Lily & Migs, shot for brands like Converse, Chi Hair Care & Franchise magazine, and is currently a member of the iconic Knicks City Dancers. Michelle began her dance career for a very special reason. She is named after her Aunt Michelle, who was also a dancer and had dreams of being a professional dancer. Unfortunately, her life ended early when she lost the fight to Leukemia before Michelle was born. Michelle dedicates much of her success to her Aunt and continues to push herself for the both of them. She lives by the quotes, "Your dreams will carry you, but you have to be willing to fly first."
