Michael Narine, born and raised in Queens, New York. At an early age Michael grew up with an Athletic background getting involved with activities such as basketball, football, Swimming, and track. However, at the age of thirteen he found a new interest which was dance. Getting introduced to breaking at a halftime show during a football game he decided to learn how to break, and has been breaking for eleven years.
May 1st, 2011 Michael joined The Titanz; a crew based in Flushing Queens, New York. This new found opportunity allowed Michael to increase his knowledge in dancing and will soon allow him to start traveling the world representing his crew and his dance. He has won competitions such as Princeton University Footwork battle, Rutgers University footwork battle, and Columbia University Rawcus 1 on 1 battle. Some of his other accomplishments would be doing a shoot for Google play and Sprayground. After expanding his knowledge on breaking, he now teaches at various studios and schools in Queens, New York. He sees it as a way to give back to the community and to help the youth grow in dancing.
When he is not dancing he is found at Nassau Community College where he is studying in the field of Physical Therapy. He believes as a dancer it is very important to understand one’s body. Michael enjoys his free time doing activities such as reading, hiking, running, and stretching.
