Melissa Becraft

Melissa Becraft is a dancer and performer from Greenville, SC. She is a versatile performer and is trained (and continues to train) in jazz, ballet, theater, contemporary, hip hop, and tap. She moved to New York City when she was 18 years of age and completed The Professional Semester at Broadway Dance Center to jump start her career as a professional dancer. After training at Broadway Dance Center, Melissa embraced the work in New York City with a wide spectrum of jobs from dancing for big brands like Refinery29 and Opening Ceremony to performing in theaters such as Alvin Ailey and The Gunter Theater.


She currently performs and trains with Crawford Jazz Project directed by Carrie Crawford who was one of her first big influences in her dancing career. She continues to pursue her passion of inspiring others through performance and dance.
