Meghan Manning

Meghan O’Connell Manning is a dancer and performer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was classically trained in the styles of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Modern dance at a local studio. As other sports and activities began to take a backseat, Meghan narrowed focus on her dance technique and artistry at the Pennsylvania Governor’s School for the Arts. In addition to her classical dance studies, she joined, and ranked nationally with, a competitive female hip-hop team. Meghan went on to attend Point Park University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts, pursuing a BA in dance. She was fortunate enough to land a role as a dancer/bridesmaid in ABC Family’s first original movie-musical, Lovestruck. Online courses allowed her to keep up with her degree during the months of shooting. Ms. Manning was also excited to appear as a dancer on Nickelodeon’s “Supah Ninjas” this past season, as well as in a few music videos, alongside artists such as Mac Miller and Wiz Khalifa. Meghan has since moved to New York City to continue to pursue her career in the entertainment industry. As a long time basketball fan, she is proud to represent the Brooklyn Nets NBA team as a Brooklynette this season. Her inspiration comes from Jazz music, Bob Fosse, and the teachings of choreographer Kiesha Lalama. Meghan feels blessed with the opportunity to make a career out of her passion.
