Luz Remigio

Luz Remigio was born in Dominican Republic and was raised in Washington Heights, New York City. At the age of 16, the young and energetic teen discovered her passion for dance while on the search for extracurricular activities, at a local community center. Here Luz learned basic hip-hop foundation and was introduced to a new world of arts. Later she moved on to train with 'Project Valentine', a small crew based in New York and led by Valentine Norton. There Luz learned many freestyle techniques and familiarized her self with Broadway Dance Center. After taking many classes Luz auditioned for a commercial dance training program directed by Rhapsody James  where she trained intensely for months.

On the road to pursuing a career in dance Luz along with Project Valentine, continued to chase her dreams. Luz Remigio landed her first major job in Los Angeles when she booked the "Video Music Awards" with Rihanna. Since then Luz has continued to work her hardest to pursue her dreams in dance, and hopes to travel the world on the quest for both knowledge and inspiration.
