I was born in Miami, Florida.
At 4 years old I told my mother that I wanted to start taking ballet (mostly to prance around in a pink tutu) so she enrolled me in classes at our local studio, Studio J Dance Dimensions. There I started taking ballet, tap and acro. By 11 I realized that ballet was something that I had a real passion for so I started training at Vladimir Issaev's School of Classical Ballet in Aventura, FL. I trained there until I left for college at Florida State University.
I went to college at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL and received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater.
I also love to sing and act!! I love music, all music from pop, hip hop, folk, classical, rock to show tunes. I also am a huge yogi and pilates fan. I love to travel when I can, explore new restaurants, go to concerts and also destress and spend as much time as I can with my friends and family.
After seeing my theater program's showcase in New York City, Nikole Vallins from Binder Casting asked me to come to an invited call for the Encores production of Finian's Rainbow. I had worked regionally at North Shore Music Theater, the Ogunquit Playhouse, Seaside Music Theater, amongst others, but was excited at the opportunity to do a show in the city. It was there that I met Warren Carlyle and was cast as Diana. The show received outstanding reviews and transferred to Broadway later that year.
First and foremost are my parents, Sally and Walt. They have supported my passion for dance and performing from the moment I knew that I wanted to pursue it. Second to them would be my ballet teacher, Vladimir Issaev. He taught me discipline, the true meaning of hard work, and helped me discover my love for dancing. My college professors Kate Gelabert, Gayle Seaton, Michael Richey and Fred Chappell. Last but not least, all of the incredible choreographers and directors I have had the privilege to work with. They have all influenced me and shaped me to be the person and performer I am today.
