Laura Haver

Laura Haver was born in Edison, NJ, and began dancing at the age of 3 at her parents' dance studio, training throughout her school years in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Theater Dance, Pointe and Hip Hop. Her love of dance led her to continue her studies at the college level at Pace University in New York City, where she had the pleasure of studying under a faculty that included Rhonda Miller, Dee Caspary, Scott Jovovich, Lauren Gaul, and Jess Hendricks. Laura now holds a BFA from Pace's Commercial Dance Program. A highlight of her time at Pace was a three week Intensive in Los Angeles, run by Emmy winning choreographer, Mandy Moore. On film, Laura was the featured dancer in the video "Trance De Vino" by Nick Drago and Michael Riccio, and also danced in the music video for Celestina and Bianca's "Feel Like Dancing," choreographed by Michelle Jersey Maniscalco. On stage she has appeared regionally in productions of Peter Pan and the Wizard of Oz, among others, and her print work includes costume and dance wear catologs. An aspiring choreographer as well, Laura was chosen to choreograph the Opening Number for the 2017 Finals of the National Dance Competition, The Power of Dance. In 2017, one of Laura's pieces was chosen to be presented by the prestigious Young Choreographer's Festival at Symphony Space in Manhattan. Among the greatest influences on Laura's dance technique are choreographer Marinda Davis, Laura's mother, Lorinda, who danced on Broadway, and her mom's own mentor, Ann Reinking. Besides dancing, choreographing and teaching, Laura loves to travel, and will watch Christmas Movies at pretty much any time of the year.
