Khadija Nicholas.

Khadija Shari Nicholas was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She found her love for the arts at a young age. Training and performing became her livelihood as something she knew she could no longer live without. Khadija continued her studies, graduating from the Professional Performing Arts High School in 2005. While in high school, Khadija trained with the Ailey School, Harlem School of the Arts and Creative Outlet Dance Theater of Brooklyn. Khadija's training consisted of ballet, modern (Horton and Graham), african, jazz, hip hop and acting for stage.

Khadija has been pursuing a professional career in the arts for the past 5 years. Some of her theatrical work includes touring with Disney's AIDA in China and performing with Creative Outlet Dance Theater of Brooklyn's professional company both nationally and internationally. Khadija's first commercial performance was with music mega-star Beyonce under the direction of Frank Gatson. She continued to perform with Beyonce on several TV performances and can be seen in Beyonce's L'Oreal Infallible commercial.

Aside from live performances, Khadija has also been featured in various music videos. Khadija's love for dance has also allowed her to teach in various schools around the NY tri-state area. Choreography is another passion and talent for Khadija. She loves to share this talent and gift to create with children. Last year, Khadija's choreography, with the Vessels of Praise dancers, won Best Praise Dance Group at the McDonald's Gospel Fest.

Aside from dance, Khadija's beauty and charasmatic personality has allowed her to dip her feet into the modeling world, a transition that came natural to her. Khadija was crowned Miss Trinidad and Tobago NY in 2006. She was also featured in Sister to Sister, Hype Hair, Paper and Dance Magazines. Khadija was given the opportunity to host backstage interviews for BET's Rip the Runway in 2009.

Khadija currently works both in NY and LA. When she is not working and creating, Khadija enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, playing music, doing hair, and enjoying the many joys of life.
