Karmyn Moton

Karmyn Nicole Moton, a dancer, singer, and model is a native of Atlanta, GA.  This true “southern belle” started moving to the rhythm and beat of any song and musical instrument at the tender age of three. This lead to being trained in ballet, expanding to more styles such as pointe, modern West-African, jazz, tap, and hip-hop.  She received her formal training at the DeKalb School of the Arts and is a recent graduate of Florida State University where she holds a BFA in Dance Performance. Her training was expanded with the Ailey School, American Dance Festival, and the Complexions Contemporary Ballet working alongside choreographers Gierre Godley, T. Lang, Suzanne Farrell, and Jawole Zollar.

Upon reaching the “Big Apple” NYC and being introduced to more street style classes, her formal concert dance training paved the way for her introduction into the entertainment and commercial industry.  Gleaning from some of the renowned dance scientists, movement analysts, and instructors of dance technique, she feels so blessed to have a set of tools that will allow her to contribute and excel in the arts and entertainment field.  She is an avid reader who can be found at any NYC Public Library, Bookseller, or simply on a park bench reading in Central Park when she is not taking dance or spin classes.
Everyday Karmyn awakes in celebration of her God-given gifts, humbled for the path that lies ahead, and grateful for her cheering quad of supporters. Her mother, the late Melody Norwood Moton, was her biggest cheerleader. She would always remind her that in everything you do put God first, and He will direct and crown your efforts with success.  Her future is limitless as the clouds.  Love and faith are her superpowers, along with her mother’s warm spirit, Karmyn is set to burst in her career as she makes her guardian angel proud.
