Jovan Dansberry

Jovan Dansberry is originally from St.Louis, Missouri where he began his dance training at the age of 7. While in St.Louis, Jovan was a part of a pre-professional company which performed and competed across the nation. He received a B.A. in dance from Loyola Marymount University where he had the opportunity to train in various dance styles as well as work with many inspiring artists and mentors. It was in 2010 when Jovan performed at the the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. for the American Dance Festival when he decided to turn dance into a professional career. Based now in Los Angeles, Jovan is a performer, choreographer, and dance instructor working in both concert and commercial dance. He is the Artistic Director of Body Tension Dance Company which previewed its first evening show "NuMB"  last March. His work has been seen in programs and for corporations such as the MTV Video Music Awards, Dancing With The Stars, Loreal Paris, Bench Philippines, TLC Network and Ford Automotive. He has also worked with artists and choreographers such as Rihanna, Corbin Bleu, Jennifer Lopez, Kenny Ortega, Liz Imperio, Capital Cities and many more. Currently, Jovan is touring the SouthPacific region as a performer and dance captain in the new musical production "Barbie Live"
