Jennifer Jones

Jennifer Mealani Jones, born in Costa Rica but raised in Ellicott City, Maryland has a background in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Modern, Hip-Hop, and Pointe. She began her formal dance trainging at the Ballet Royale Institute of Maryland and Spotlight Studio of Dance. Her summer intensive programs as a teen included Peridance, Alvin Ailey, the Rock School of Dance, and Alonzo King LINES ballet.  She was a Presidential Schoarship recipient at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia where she received a BFA in Jazz Dance Performance.  While at UARTs she performed with renowned Philadelphia artists Tommie Waheed-Evans, Gunnar Montana, Brian Sanders, and Roni Koresh.

Jennifer worked for two years performing with the 76ers DREAMTEAM and in 2013 was featured on FOX's So You Think You Can Dance Season 10.  Upon graduating at the University of the Arts, Jennifer joined Philadanco where she was able to perform ballets by Donald Byrd, Christopher Huggins, Milton Myers, Matthew Rushing and many more dance legends. Jennifer was able to travel to Chile, Bermuda, and many cities across the United States with Philadanco until she moved to Los Angeles in 2014.

Her time in Los Angeles was cut short after she joined Dirty Dancing the National Tour as the principle role of "Penny Johnson," but Jennifer Mealani was able to be in movies such as Ted 2, music videos with Justin Bieber, and many commercials and industrials in Los Angeles.

Jennifer is now living in New York City and stoked to see what's next!
