Jacob Dimenstein

Jacob Dimenstein is a promising and talented dancer who was born in New York City in 1995. As a precocious 11 year old, he was invited to join a teen hip-hop dance company at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. In the seven years since then, dance has become an even larger part of his life. He dedicated himself to this newfound passion by training under the guidance of hip-hop Choreographer and master teacher Kelly Peters and by attending numerous classes and workshop with some the most influential dance professionals such as Robin, Dunn, Tweetie, Mr Wiggles, Neil Schwartz, Luam Keflezgy, and Valentine Norton. His training takes place at Broadway Dance Center and has currently been apart of a hip-hop dance crew called Generation X. Through Generation X, Jacob has been able to compete in numerous dance competitions like World of Dance, Prelude Urban Dance Competition, Sybarite,  Carnival, and even perform in front of Madonna her private party.  A person that has had a large impact on Jacob’s career is Kelly Peters. Besides from dance Jacob loves to listen to music, hang out with his friends, and play basketball (playing for his varsity team all four years of high school). A favorite quote and life motto would be “Go hard or Go home”, this has been applied to what ever Jacob has done. Why do something 85% and then question why he or she didn’t get what they went for.
