Ivan Leon

Ivan Leon was born and raised in Harlem, New York. His love for dancing began when he discovered MTV in the year 1999. Immediately, he knew that a career in dance and entertainment is what he wanted pursue. Ivan began his dance training at Tito Puente Performing Arts Jr. High School, where he focused on ballet. Afterwards, Ivan attended the High School of Fashion Industries for fashion design.  He continued to further his education at LaGuardia Community College, where he completed an Associates Degree in Theatre and Communication. While attending LaGuardia, Ivan began dancing for a Hip-Hop infused modern dance company called MAD. Ivan has been able to work with numerous choreographers  and dancers who have inspired and influenced him throughout his journey, including Jermaine Browne, George Jones, Janelle Cambridge, Sheryl Murakami, Rhapsody James, Ryan Davis, Jared Jenkins, and Lajon Dantzler. Outside of his passion for dancing, Ivan is a freelance stylist and works for a Millenary Company called Patricia Underwood since 2008. Ivan’s personal aphorism is “You have to live in the truth of who you are. Only then will you succeed in life”.
