Ibn Snell, a South Philadelphia native grew up in a family filled of dancers. Starting tap at the age of 4, he knew that dance was something he couldn't let go of. His training began extensively at the High School for Creative and Performing Arts and in the summers of New York City at The Ailey School as well as Eleone Dance Connections/Theatre. Upon graduating from high school, he was awarded with the Susan B. Glazer Scholarship from the University of the Arts which included a four year paid scholarship. Ibn traveled internationally to Kigali, Rwanda to teach children and in efforts to bring dance and arts to their community.
