Geena Quintos

Geena is a Native New Yorker, born and raised in Sunnyside, Queens. Her love for theatre blossomed at the age of 4, when she was in Miss Saigon on Broadway. She has been chasing the dream ever since. Geena began her training at Broadway Dance Center, having trained in a multitude of styles ranging from Jazz and Ballet to Rhythm Tap and Hip Hop, for 9 years. She then attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center as a Drama Major. Attending a High School so supportive of the arts inspired her to pursue a career in theatre. Geena's first professional role was in the National Tour of A Chorus Line directed by Baayork Lee. She was cast in the role of Connie Wong just two weeks before graduating from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. More of her credits include, Broadway: Miss Saigon; National Tours: A Chorus Line; Off-Broadway: Held Momentarily (Mindy), Godspell (Anna Maria), Some Place Like Home (Lizzie/Craigslist #3); Regional: Miss Saigon (Mimi), A Chorus Line (Connie), CARRIE The Musical (Helen). Special Events include One Thrilling Combination: A Night Celebrating Marvin Hamlisch, Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, and Britney Spears "Curious" Perfume Promo. She is also a coffee enthusiast as well as a children's gymnastic instructor on the Upper East Side. Geena constantly remembers how the performing arts changed her life as a young girl and how it has made her the person she is today. She hopes to be able to pass it on and inspire people of all ages throughout the world. She lives by the quote, "Some people feel the rain, others just get wet," reminding her to live every moment to the fullest and take every opportunity by storm.
