Dalonte' "Prince" Timms

Dalonte’ Timms was born and raised in Washington DC. At the tender age of 5, he found his passion for dancing while performing in a talent show in elementary school. Throughout high school, he continued to stay active, participating in basketball and football. Never losing sight of his true passion, Dalonte’ maintained his involvement in a number of theatrical productions and stage performances that eventually led him to the commercial dance world.

He joined Raw Element Dance Company in 2012, where he was given the stage name “Prince” because of how much he encompassed the style and essence of Will Smith from “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”. Dalonte’ has had the opportunity to work with a plethora of choreographers and instructors, giving him a strong foundation in Hip Hop. Being afforded the opportunity to dance behind artists like Yolanda Adams, Kelly Price, and Raheem DeVaughn in a production was an unforgettable highlight of his then unseasoned career. Inspired by artists such as Missy Elliot, Michael Jackson, and Chris Brown, Dalonte’ is an artist who values the culture, expression, and life the art of dance breathes through him.
