Angela Pardini Gomez

"Angela (Angie) Gómez grew up in the Bay Area, surrounded by a vibrant community with roots planted deep in hip-hop culture, and a family that emigrated from Colombia before she was born,  She discovered her passions for singing and dancing early on, and performed in 21 musicals and 8 plays by the time she graduated high school. In that time, she had the pleasure of playing some fearless females; Nina Rosario (In The Heights), Mimi Marquez (Rent), and Jasmine (Aladdin), to name a few.

She was accepted with a full ride scholarship to New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, pursuing a BFA in Drama. In her time in the Department of Drama, she studied film acting at Stonestreet Studios, experimental theatre at the International Theatre Workshop in Amsterdam, and musical theatre at the New Studio on Broadway as a part of its fifth graduating class. 

Past roles at New York University include Nina Vazquez (Safety Net–World Premiere Production), Angel (Times Square–World Premiere Production), Beth Spencer (Merrily We Roll Along), and Skyler (ReB+VoDKa+Me). Angie has also originated roles in new works in collaboration with the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Department at NYU Tisch."
