Alysia Douglas

Born and raised in Poughkeepsie, New York, Alysia has always thought of herself as a performer while specifically honing in on the art of dance. She began dancing at Estelle and Alfonso where she was introduced to various styles such as tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical and more. She would eventually move up to dance competitively throughout high school where she attended Kerry’s Dance Academy.  Further pursuing her passion, she would graduate from both Dutchess Community College and The College of SUNY Brockport with Degrees in Performing arts, Dance and theater.

After college, Alysia took to Community Theater,
landing her a role in “Aida”. Inspired and ready to pursue the commercial dance world, Alysia began training at Broadway Dancer Center; completing their summer professional program.
She then went on to train under Luam Keflezgy Rock the Industry, Dana’s Foglia mentorship program, Jessica Castro lipstick Diaries and countless intensives.
Her myriad of skills and diverse training has enabled her to work with the aforementioned choreographers and Ryan Huffington.

Alysia hopes to push her training and find her purpose in the dance industry with the intent to inspire others. She gives thanks to her family for support but most importantly God.
