Monica Rosenblatt

Monica is no stranger to the stage. Born & raised in the farmlands of Harford County, Maryland, Monica's love for music and theater started at the ripe age of 4. But her debut as Christina Aguilera at her 5th birthday party was just the beginning for Monica. She quickly found singing to be her first passion in life and she hasn’t stopped singing since this revelation.

Monica played basketball throughout the years and ended up choosing between it and theatre in high school. She definitely thinks she made the right decision. Life lead Monica to Emerson College in Boston, MA where she recently graduated with her BFA in Musical Theatre. Monica also writes music of her own and curve models as well and always knew her passions would bring her to the Big Apple.

In college some of Monica’s favorite roles were Aunt Sponge in Pasek & Paul’s “James & The Giant Peach” and Effy Krayneck in “The Spitfire Grill”. She worked for 11 weeks one summer at Weathervane Reperatory Theatre in New Hampshire where she played a vast array of roles from Aunt Em in “The Wiz” to Megyver in “Pirates of the Silly Seas”. Monica is also the golden ticket winner of The American Idol Experience at Disney’s Hollywood Studios where she sang “Listen” from Dreamgirls.

Monica is a member of the Equity Candidacy Membership program and has made the big move to NYC to pursue her lifelong dreams. In her free time, Monica enjoys cooking, writing music, and binge watching series on Netflix.
