Eliud Kauffman



Born in Monterrey, Mexico, March 3, 1971. Eliud's family moved to Texas where he went to high school and began acting in his high school drama program. After high school, Eliud attended Princeton University. He also completed the Conservatory Program at T. Schreiber Studio in New York where he met legendary acting teacher Terry Schreiber, a friend and mentor to him.

After Princeton, Eliud worked for the Mexican Consulate and later became an advertising executive in New York, ocassionally returning to his love of acting. In 2010, he decided to pursue his passion for acting full time. Since then, he has enjoyed starring and supporting roles in numerous projects in Film, TV and Theatre.

Recent work includes: Film: Hands of Stone (Cannes Official Selection), The Intern, From Nowhere (SXSW 2016 Audience Award) , Hamlet, Lloro; TV: Flesh and Bone, Boardwalk Empire, The Blacklist, Law and Order Special Victims Unit. His work in the film Lloro garnered Eliud his first Best Actor in a Leading Role nomination at the 2013 New York International Film Festival.
