Nicholas Palmquist



Upon graduating from Oklahoma City University, Magna Cum Laude, Nicholas moved to New York City where he’s had the privilege of performing on some of the most iconic stages New York has to offer, including; Radio City Music Hall, Lincoln Center, Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, The Guggenheim Theatre, and very proudly at The Joyce Theatre. Nicholas has danced on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, with Kevin Bacon as well as Saturday Night Live and the Netflix original series, The Get Down. He’s walked in fashion shows directed by Jean-Paul Goude and danced with companies like American Dance Machine for the 21st Century, Broadway Dance Lab, and with the world famous Radio City Rockettes.
Nicholas teaches a commercial jazz class at Steps on Broadway where he combines his vast dance background with intricate musical phrasing to tell stories through dance, meant for camera. He has also taught masterclasses for Broadway Dance Center and ABT/NYU Pedagogy Master’s students as well as studios across America.
Nicholas has recently returned to Music Theatre Wichita, where he performed in 15 shows, to choreograph! Nick choreographed The Hunchback of Notre Dame and also staged and danced in the second act ballet of Carousel, both Directed by Artistic Producer, Wayne Bryan.
